On March 1,
Yellowstone is overwhelmingly large and incredibly diverse. Make sure to have several days for exploration in the park. Our visit lasted a week and we barely scratched the surface.
Bubbling, steaming, boiling, spewing… geysers and springs in Yellowstone make it quite funky and bizarre.
Hayden Valley / Wildlife
With the highest density of mammals in the contiguous US, Yellowstone National Park is a mecca for viewing wildlife. Make sure to visit Hayden or Lamar Valleys during dusk and dawn for prime time viewing.
Did you know that the Bison is the official mammal of the United States?
These are wild animals, help protect them! Make sure to stay at least 25ft away from Bison and Elk and 100ft from Bears and Wolves. If an animal’s behavior changes due to your presence, you are too close!
